Proceeds from the sale of these labyrinth cloths go directly to Astral NGO, Mongolia. Each labyrinth cloth is stitched in Mongolia by a woman householder with children. The women are trained by Astral in order to create a self-sustaining income. Women are the poorest members of Mongolian society, living frequently in difficult conditions with temperatures dropping to -40oC during winter. Through Astral, women’s children also receive support with hot meals for school children and kindergarten care.
